Dropping a Class at RBCS
Because sometimes life shifts—and grace makes room.
At Revolution Bible College & Seminary, we’re not here to trap you in a syllabus.
We’re here to walk with you in the real, unpredictable mess of life.
So if you need to pause, pivot, or let go of a class for now? That’s okay.
Dropping a class is simple. No guilt. No hoops. Just honesty and clarity.
Why You Might Drop a Class
- Life just hit hard—grief, illness, transition, burnout
- Ministry pulled you in deeper than expected
- You bit off too much this season
- You realized the Spirit’s leading you in a different direction
Whatever the reason, we trust your discernment.
And we believe rest is holy.
So here’s how it works:
How to Drop a Class
- Send us an email
➤ Email: [email protected]
➤ Subject: “Drop Request – [Your Name] – [Course Title]”
➤ Let us know why you’re dropping (if you want—totally optional)
➤ Include the date you’re submitting the request - That’s it.
We’ll process your request within 3–5 business days, update your student records, and let your instructor know.
Refund Policy / Timing
We try to balance grace with sustainability. Here’s how tuition refunds work:
When You Drop | Refund Amount |
---|---|
Within 7 days of enrolling | 100% refund or credit toward future course |
Within 8–21 days | 50% refund or credit |
After 21 days | No refund, but we’ll work with you to retake the course later at a discount if needed |
We believe in mercy over money. If your situation is serious (medical, family crisis, etc.), talk to us. We’ll figure it out together.
What Happens to My Transcript?
If you drop:
- Before completing any graded work → No record appears.
- After beginning the course → A “W” (Withdrawn) is listed, but it doesn’t affect your GPA or standing.
We don’t weaponize your transcript.
We’re not here to shame your process.
We’re here to support your formation—even when it takes a detour.
Planning to Re-Enroll Later?
You’re always welcome back.
When you’re ready, you can rejoin the same course—or choose another one that fits your season better.
Email: [email protected]
Or reach out to your advisor if you want to talk it through.
Dropping a class isn’t failure.
It’s discernment.
It’s trust.
It’s making space for what matters most.
At RBCS, your humanity is never an inconvenience.
It’s holy ground.
So take the time you need.
We’ll be here when you’re ready.
